Skills Required
Capable to handle Tamil Nadu State board Syllabus
Good subject knowledge
Patience and empathy towards visually challenged students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for social service and education

The Indian Association for the Blind (IAB), founded in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in 1985 by the late activist S.M.A. Jinnah, is a premier non-profit organization dedicated to the socio-economic rehabilitation and empowerment of visually challenged individuals [1]. Operating from its main campus in Sundarajanpatti, the NGO focuses heavily on rural and economically disadvantaged communities, providing free residential education, specialized vocational training, and computer literacy to help individuals lead self-reliant lives. Over the decades, IAB has provided holistic education and support to thousands of students, while successfully placing over 6,000 visually impaired youths into mainstream corporate, banking, and government sectors.
