Hostel Warden / Residential Warden

Role Summary

A Warden is responsible for maintaining discipline, safety, cleanliness, and smooth functioning of the hostel/residential facility. The warden supervises students/residents, ensures their welfare, and manages daily hostel activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Supervision

Monitor students’ behavior and discipline.
Maintain attendance and movement records.
Ensure hostel rules and regulations are followed.
Counsel and guide students when required.
Safety & Security

Ensure safety and security of residents.
Handle emergencies and report incidents immediately.
Conduct regular room inspections.
Coordinate with security staff and management.
Hostel Administration

Maintain hostel records and registers.
Manage room allotment and occupancy details.
Supervise housekeeping and maintenance activities.
Ensure cleanliness of hostel premises.
Food & Mess Management

Monitor food quality and hygiene in the mess.
Address students’ complaints regarding food services.
Coordinate with catering staff.
Communication

Communicate with parents/guardians when necessary.
Report hostel issues to the administration.
Coordinate with teachers, management, and support staff.
Health & Welfare

Support sick students and arrange medical assistance.
Ensure students’ physical and emotional well-being.
Promote a healthy and disciplined environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
