Echo technician

Job Title: ECHO Technician (1–2 Years Experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ECHO Technician with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in performing echocardiography procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations, assisting cardiologists in diagnosis, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (2D, M-mode, Doppler, and Color Doppler) as per physician instructions
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
Acquire accurate and high-quality diagnostic images of the heart
Assist cardiologists during stress echocardiography and other specialized procedures
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
Record, analyze, and report preliminary findings to the cardiologist
Ensure proper documentation and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital protocols
Follow infection control and safety standards at all times
Coordinate with medical staff for smooth workflow and patient care
Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Technology, Radiology, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant experience in echocardiography
Proficiency in handling echocardiography machines and related software
Basic understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Skills:

Experience in stress echo or transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is an advantage
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to handle emergency cases calmly and efficiently
Working Conditions:

Hospital/diagnostic center setting
Rotational shifts, including weekends or on-call duties (if required)
