OT Incharge

Job Summary:

The OT In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the operation theatre, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and efficiency. This role involves coordinating surgical procedures, managing OT staff, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all activities within the operation theatre.
Ensure proper scheduling and smooth conduct of surgical procedures.
Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterilization protocols.
Manage OT staff, including nurses, technicians, and support personnel.
Ensure availability and proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment.
Monitor inventory and coordinate procurement of OT supplies.
Implement and enforce infection control policies and safety standards.
Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures when required.
Maintain accurate records of surgeries, equipment usage, and patient data.
Handle emergency situations efficiently and ensure readiness at all times.
Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with other departments for seamless patient care.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing / Operation Theatre Technology or related field.
Valid nursing registration (if applicable).
Certification in OT techniques or perioperative care is preferred.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards

Pay: ₹10,224.27 - ₹32,944.57 per month
