Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry to teach Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage and motivate senior secondary students. The teacher will also be responsible for preparing students for board exams and competitive examinations like NEET, JEE (Main), etc.
Academic Delivery
Plan and deliver engaging and structured Chemistry lessons in alignment with the CBSE syllabus for Grades XI & XII.
Prepare yearly, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
Use diverse teaching methodologies and tools (including digital platforms) to promote active learning.
Conduct regular assessments, class tests, and practicals as per CBSE norms.
Laboratory Work
Supervise and guide students in Chemistry lab work, ensuring safety and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
Maintain up-to-date lab inventory and requisition for materials.
Ensure students follow all lab safety protocols and practices.
Student Support
Identify students’ learning needs and provide academic support and enrichment as required.
Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and provide additional coaching for competitive exams (NEET/JEE) if needed.
Maintain individual student records, monitor progress, and report to parents during PTMs.
Curriculum Development
Contribute to the development and revision of lesson plans, study material, worksheets, and assessments.
Collaborate with colleagues in planning interdisciplinary and project-based learning.
Administrative Duties
Maintain all CBSE-required documentation including lesson plans, attendance, mark sheets, and practical records.
Participate in school events, assemblies, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
Assist in CBSE exam-related responsibilities such as invigilation, paper setting, evaluation, etc.
