Job Description
The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching B.Ed. students, conducting educational research, guiding student teachers during internships and practicum, and contributing to academic and institutional development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Education as per the curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
Supervise teaching practice, internships, and school-based activities.
Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development.
Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in recognized journals.
Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance activities.
Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and extension programs.
Maintain academic records and submit reports as required.
Participate in examination duties and institutional committees.
Support accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Education (M.Ed.) with at least 55% marks.
NET/SET qualification as per UGC/NCTE norms (where applicable).
Ph.D. in Education is desirable/preferred.
Good communication, teaching, and research skills.
Experience
Teaching experience in teacher education institutions preferred.
Experience in research, publications, and academic administration will be an added advantage.

Strong subject knowledge in Education.
Effective classroom management and teaching skills.
Research and academic writing abilities.
Proficiency in ICT and educational technology.
Teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
