Job Description – Executive Assistant to JMD
Department: Director Office
Reporting To : Joint Managing Director (JMD)
Job Location : Madurai
Job Summary
The Executive Assistant to JMD will provide high-level coordination and executive support to the Joint Managing Director (JMD) in managing strategic, financial, regulatory, and operational activities. The role requires strong financial acumen, coordination skills, and sound knowledge of SEBI regulations, corporate governance, and compliance matters. The incumbent will ensure smooth communication, effective follow-up, and execution of tasks across departments while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Coordination & Support
· Act as a coordination point between the JMD and internal/external stakeholders.
· Ensure timely execution and follow-up of strategic initiatives assigned by the JMD.
· Coordinate and manage the meetings, and priorities of the JMD.
· Prepare meeting MOM (Minutes of Meeting), presentations, and follow-up action trackers.
2. Financial & Compliance Coordination
· Support the JMD in financial analysis, MIS review, budgeting, and business performance tracking.
· Coordinate on matters related to financial reporting, statutory compliance, and corporate governance.
· Assist in reviewing board papers, audit reports, financial statements, and compliance documents.
3. SEBI & Regulatory Compliance
· Ensure coordination related to SEBI regulations, listing requirements, insider trading compliance, and corporate disclosures.
· Assist in preparing and reviewing compliance reports related to stock exchange and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate with legal, secretarial, and finance teams for regulatory matters.
4. Business & Strategic Support
· Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and business analysis for management review.
· Track business KPIs and support decision-making through analytical reports.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information and strategic discussions.
5. Stakeholder Management
· Liaise with auditors, consultants, legal advisors, investors, and senior management when required.
· Coordinate inter-departmental communication to ensure smooth execution of JMD directives.
Qualifications
· MBA with CA Inter (Mandatory)
· Additional qualification in Finance / Company Secretary (Preferred)
Languages Known : English, Hindi (Speak)
Experience
· 10-12 years of experience in Director Office / Chairman Office / Corporate Coordination / Finance Coordination roles.
· Experience in listed companies or corporate office environment preferred.
· Working knowledge of SEBI regulations, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.
