SAP HANA Functional Consultant - Finance

Role Summary

We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) Functional Consultant with approximately 5 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or conversion. The consultant will design, configure, and support core FI components such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

· Gather financial and accounting requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA FI solution designs and functional specifications.

· Configure FI components including GL (New GL), AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and relevant posting/document types.

· Support end-to-end implementation activities such as blueprinting, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and post-go-live support.

· Collaborate with CO, MM, SD, and other modules to ensure correct financial postings and seamless integration.

· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliation, and reporting in SAP S/4HANA.

· Prepare and maintain process flows, configuration documents, test scripts, and user training materials.

· Provide second-level support, resolve incidents, and handle enhancements or upgrades in the live FI environment.

Required Experience & Skills

· Around 5 years of SAP FI functional experience, with exposure to at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or S/4HANA conversion project.

· Strong hands-on configuration and support experience in FI core areas: GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.

· Understanding of financial closing, reporting, and integration with CO, MM, SD, and other modules.

· Experience in testing, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Preferred Skills

· Good communication skills to interact with finance teams, business users, and cross-functional consultants.

· Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance features such as New GL, parallel ledgers, Fiori financial apps, and Central Finance (if applicable).

· Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing procedures, reporting, and reconciliations.

· Knowledge of basic accounting principles and ability to explain SAP behavior in business-finance terms.

Pay: ₹66,000.00 - ₹78,000.00 per month
